Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile has donated N3 million to assist popular TikToker Salo with his medical expenses following a life-threatening incident.
Salo, who was critically injured after being shot by hired assassins, required urgent medical attention due to severe blood loss.
The hospital in Lekki where Salo was admitted demanded an upfront payment of N12 million before commencing treatment. In a video shared on X, Salo recounted the harrowing experience and expressed gratitude for the support he received. "I had lost a significant amount of blood, and the hospital insisted on the N12 million payment upfront," Salo explained.
The funds were raised through a collective effort from various supporters. A woman contributed N5 million, while Salo's friend and girlfriend managed to gather N2 million collectively. Other supporters also pitched in to meet the required amount. Despite these efforts, the hospital later requested an additional N20 million, highlighting ongoing financial challenges.
Salo praised Zlatan for his timely intervention, stating, "Zlatan's contribution of N3 million was crucial in covering the initial surgery costs."
