The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) has confirmed the elimination of two crocodiles following a deadly attack on a young fisherman.
The event took place at Chilo Gorge in the Gonarezhou National Park, where 23-year-old Bernard Sithole was fatally attacked while fishing.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 17, when Sithole was dragged into the water by one of the territorial reptiles.
ZimParks spokesperson Tinashe Farawo described the situation as "tragic," emphasizing the need for immediate action to prevent further loss of life."It is unfortunate that a 23-year-old man was killed by a crocodile at Chilo Gorge in Gonarezhou," Farawo stated.
