The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command has announced the commencement of enforcing a ban on tinted glasses and concealed number plates.
This initiative was confirmed by the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Disu, during a press briefing where several suspects were paraded for various crimes in the region.
The enforcement aims to address violations such as the use of tinted glasses and driving with only one plate number. As part of this crackdown, 296 vehicles have already been impounded for these infractions.
The police emphasize that individuals do not have the right to tint their vehicle windows beyond the legal limits, underlining the importance of compliance with these regulations to ensure public safety and security.
