This disclosure was made in a post on X, which he later deleted, where he expressed, “Women inspire music! Gods on earth.”
Wizkid, celebrated for his romantic tunes, has consistently dedicated his work to women, with his latest album, 'Morayo,' being no exception.
The album is a poignant homage to his late mother, Morayo Jane Balogun, and it has achieved remarkable success on Spotify.
'Morayo' shattered records by amassing 48 million streams in just six days, surpassing Tyla’s previous record of 46.4 million streams.
Furthermore, it set a new milestone for the largest opening week for an African album on Spotify, with 52.8 million streams.
