Jemimah Yahaya shares her challenging experience of traveling by road to Taraba, highlighting the severe infrastructure issues that plague the region.
Documenting her journey in a video, Yahaya captures the daunting obstacles faced by travelers, including a collapsed bridge that forced passengers to disembark from their bus and trek across a water body. Male passengers were seen assisting in pulling the bus across until they reached dry land.
The journey did not end there; travelers had to navigate a precarious wooden bridge that seemed barely capable of supporting their weight.
The final leg of the trip was completed by boat, showing the dire state of transportation infrastructure in the area. As Yahaya poignantly put it, "Watin my eyes see for this trip, my mouth no fit talk," capturing the frustration and disbelief experienced during the ordeal.
