US Air Force Launches Investigation After Unidentified Drones Spotted Over Military Bases in England

Unidentified drones have been detected over three U.S. Air Force bases in England.

These incidents occurred between November 20 and November 26, at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell.

The presence of these drones has raised significant security concerns, prompting an investigation to determine their origin and purpose.

Pentagon spokesman Major General Patrick Ryder emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, "Installation leaders have determined so far that none of these incursions impact the base residents, the facilities or the assets that we have on those bases."

Despite this assurance, the coordinated nature of the drone activity suggests a more deliberate intent than mere hobbyist interference.

A U.S. official, speaking anonymously, noted that the drones did not appear to be the work of hobbyists, indicating a potentially organized effort behind these flights.

In response to the situation, British troops have been deployed to assist the U.S. Air Force in identifying the source of the drones.

A spokesperson for Britain's Ministry of Defence (MOD) confirmed their involvement, stating, "We are supporting the U.S. Air Force response."
