The stage at a Lagos concert collapsed during a performance by Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck.
The incident occurred on Saturday, December 21, at SoL Beach in the Elegushi area of Lagos State, leaving fans and performers scrambling for safety.
Eyewitnesses captured the dramatic moment on video, which quickly went viral on social media. The footage shows the stage giving way unexpectedly as Odumodublvck and his crew were delivering an electrifying performance to an enthusiastic crowd. "It was terrifying," said one concert-goer. "One moment we were enjoying the music and the next, everything was chaos."
The event, organized by Nativeland, featured performances from other notable artists such as Bloody Civilian, Wizkid, DJ Tunez and Ayanfe. Despite the unexpected appearance of Wizkid, the highlight of the night turned into a scene of panic and concern. Many attendees expressed their worries online, with comments like "I hope they’re okay" and "I'm sure there's no ambulance or medical team on standby."
As of now, the extent of injuries remains unclear, and the festival organizers have yet to release an official statement addressing the mishap.
