A senior UK military official declared that Britain's armed forces are prepared to engage in combat against Russia "tonight" should President Vladimir Putin decide to invade another Eastern European country.
This bold assertion comes on the heels of Putin's announcement regarding Russia's new "Oreshnik" ballistic missiles, which he claims are impervious to any air defense systems currently available worldwide.
The UK's deputy chief of the defense staff, Rob Magowan, emphasized the readiness of the British Army, stating, "If the British Army was asked to fight tonight, it would fight tonight."
He further assured that there should be no doubt about the UK's commitment to confronting Russian aggression if it threatens Eastern Europe.
