Nigerian TikTok sensation Peller is reportedly under scrutiny by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for alleged involvement in internet fraud, commonly referred to as "Yahoo-Yahoo."
This revelation was brought to light by controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, who claims to have received information from an FBI source regarding Peller's suspected cybercrime activities.
According to Olunloyo, Peller allegedly confessed during a TikTok session to having engaged in fraudulent activities before rising to fame as a content creator.
The 19-year-old influencer has been advised by Olunloyo to exercise caution with his public statements, warning that such admissions could lead to serious legal consequences.
She drew parallels between Peller's situation and that of Hushpuppi, another influencer currently serving a prison sentence in the United States for similar offenses.
"If you know Peller, please tell him to SFTU. He’s on the verge of single-handedly destroying his own future," Olunloyo cautioned.
The allegations have sparked a wide range of reactions on social media.
While some dismiss them as "another cock and bull story from the journalist," others recognize the potentially severe implications if the claims are substantiated.
