Accord Party's Iyere Withdraws from Edo Governorship Race

The Unity Party candidate for the Edo State governorship election, Comrade Kennedy Iyer has officially withdrawn from the race, citing a higher calling to serve Nigeria nationally.

Now focusing on creating over six million youth and women entrepreneurs, Iyere urged Edo voters to choose wisely, shun violence and vote their conscience. The humanitarian activist is famous for solving indefinite food.

Iyere's withdrawal took place in the conflict between internal political parties and requested a smart onabulel involved in his partner. Iyer said these internal struggles have forced him to focus on broader national goals.

His national focus is his Food4All initiative, which aims to achieve food security and create jobs on a large scale through the One Household One Farmer scheme. He has presented the initiative to President Bola Tinubu and is working closely with the Federal Government to launch the initiative in October 2024.

Our intervention is planned to increase entrepreneurial opportunities for the youth in several sectors,” Iyer said. Iyere, who is currently focusing on nurturing over 6 million youth and women entrepreneurs, urged Edo voters to make wise choices, shun violence and vote according to their conscience.

He remains optimistic that his efforts at the federal level will contribute to Nigeria's economic recovery and poverty reduction. Comrade Iyer's vision goes beyond the governorship. He plans to help the federal government develop a roadmap for economic inclusion and youth participation through the social intervention program. Our intervention programs will enhance youth entrepreneurship opportunities in multiple sectors,” Iyere said.
