Controversial internet personality Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been mandated by Westminster Magistrates Court to repay over £2 million in unpaid taxes.

This ruling follows an extensive investigation into their online business operations, which uncovered substantial tax evasion and money laundering activities.

The court's decision comes after it was revealed that between 2014 and 2022, the Tate brothers allegedly evaded taxes and laundered money through bank accounts located in Devon, UK.

According to the investigation, no tax or VAT was paid on their considerable earnings during this period.

The authorities claim that the brothers concealed the origins of their income by using 'front' accounts, actions that have been classified as criminal, with the earnings deemed proceeds of crime.

Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring described the financial dealings as a "complex financial matrix," which he ultimately concluded was a "straightforward cheat of the revenue."

The court heard that some of the funds were held in cryptocurrency accounts under the name of a woman identified only as J, who reportedly had no involvement in the Tates' businesses.

In response to the ruling, Andrew Tate vehemently criticized the decision, stating, "This is not justice; it’s a coordinated attack on anyone who dares to challenge the system." He further alleged that the authorities' actions were an attempt to silence dissenting voices, adding, "Speak against the Matrix, and they’ll come for your freedom, your reputation, and your livelihood."

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police emphasized the seriousness of the charges, noting, "From the outset, we have aimed to demonstrate that Andrew and Tristan Tate evaded taxes and laundered money through bank accounts located in Devon."
