President Bola Tinubu has issued a stern warning to terrorists and insurgents, urging them to surrender or face intensified military action.
This announcement was made on October 3, during the inaugural annual international lecture organized by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja. The event, themed "Insecurity in the Sahel (2008-2024): Dissecting Nigeria's Challenges - Genesis, Impacts and Options," aimed to address the ongoing security challenges in Nigeria and the broader Sahel region.
Represented by the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, President Tinubu emphasized the government's commitment to restoring peace and stability. "The message is clear: surrender now or prepare for a renewed onslaught from our military forces," he declared, underscoring the administration's resolve to tackle insecurity head-on.
