'Sun Will Rise Again' – Cristiano Ronaldo Defends Amorim Amid Man Utd Struggles

Legendary Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has recently voiced his support for Ruben Amorim, the current manager of Manchester United, amid the club's ongoing struggles in the Premier League.

Despite the challenges faced by the team, Ronaldo remains optimistic about Amorim's potential to turn things around and believes that brighter days are ahead for the Red Devils.

Ruben Amorim, a 39-year-old Portuguese coach, took over as Manchester United's head coach earlier this month, replacing Erik ten Hag. Amorim, who previously achieved massive success with Sporting CP in Portugal, is now tasked with revitalizing a Manchester United side that has been struggling to find its form.

Under his leadership, the team has experienced a difficult start, losing five out of ten matches, including four of the last five in the Premier League. This challenging period has led to speculation about Amorim's job security, with the manager himself acknowledging the pressure that comes with managing a club of United's stature.

In light of these difficulties, Cristiano Ronaldo has come forward to defend Amorim, emphasizing that the issues at Manchester United extend beyond the coaching staff.

"The problem is not the coaches," Ronaldo stated, highlighting that the Premier League is the most competitive league in the world, where every team poses a formidable challenge. He expressed confidence in Amorim's abilities, noting, "He did a fantastic job in Portugal with my former club Sporting, but the Premier League is a different beast."

Ronaldo, who enjoyed two successful spells at Manchester United, scoring 145 goals, has been critical of the club's ownership in recent years. He believes that the problems at United are systemic and not solely attributable to the coaching staff.

"If I owned Man United, I would fix issues," Ronaldo asserted, suggesting that he could address the underlying problems if given the opportunity to own the club. He hinted at his aspirations to become a club owner in the future, stating, "I'm not a coach. I'm never going to be a coach, president of the club? No. Maybe owner of the club."

Despite the current challenges, Ronaldo remains hopeful for Manchester United's future under Amorim's guidance. "I knew it would be tough, and they would continue the storm, but the storm will finish, and the sun will rise," he remarked, expressing his belief that the team will eventually overcome its difficulties. Ronaldo's comments reflect his enduring affection for the club, as he added, "I hope the best for Manchester United because this is a club I still love."

Ronaldo's support for Amorim comes at a time when the Portuguese manager is preparing for a crucial match against Newcastle United. As Amorim navigates the pressures of managing one of the world's most prestigious football clubs, Ronaldo's endorsement serves as a vote of confidence in his compatriot's ability to lead Manchester United back to glory.
