Rapper Shallipopi Allegedly Part Ways with Dapper Music

Nigerian rapper Shallipopi is rumoured to have parted ways with Dapper Music, the label that played a crucial role in catapulting him to fame.

The speculation surrounding this potential split has been fueled by Shallipopi's recent actions on social media. He has notably removed Dapper Music from his bio and unfollowed its founder, moves that have sparked widespread discussion among fans and industry insiders alike.

The partnership between Shallipopi and Dapper Music has been nothing short of transformative. Since joining the label, Shallipopi has released a series of hit singles, EPs, and albums, including his debut EP 'Planet Pluto' and the chart-topping LP 'Presido La Pluto.' His sophomore album 'Shakespopi,' also under Dapper Music, delivered the popular track 'ASAP,' further solidifying his status as a rising star in the Nigerian music scene.

Earlier this year, Shallipopi took a significant step in his career by launching his own label, Plutomania Records, with artists Zerry DL and Tega Boi as its flagship talents. This move hinted at his growing ambitions and desire for greater creative control.

The rumours of his departure from Dapper Music come just a week after the release of his latest single 'Order,' featuring Olamide, which was produced in collaboration with both Plutomania Records and Dapper Music & Entertainment.
