Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has been filmed ordering his associates to assault a car dealer over the non-delivery of a new car he had paid to ship from America.
The video shows the distressed car dealer sitting on the floor, pleading for mercy while Portable, visibly enraged, shouts, “Where is my car? Are you trying to kill me or scam me? I will destroy your life.” According to Portable, it had been two weeks since he made the payment, yet the vehicle had not been delivered. He expressed his frustration by saying, “I was supposed to make a social media post about the car yesterday, but he has been lying to me.”
Despite the dealer's pleas of innocence, Portable instructed his men to continue the assault. The dealer could be heard desperately saying, “Please, I didn’t take your car.”
This incident comes less than 48 hours after Portable was caught on camera slapping a preacher who was preaching at his bar. Known for his erratic behavior, Portable has previously canceled a $6,000 show in the US to meet fellow artist Davido, only to later express regret. He has also faced backlash for controversial comments about Fela Kuti’s early death and for criticizing other celebrities.
