Port Harcourt Refinery Sets Petrol Price at N1,030 per Litre

Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has announced that petrol from the Port Harcourt refinery will be sold at N1,030 per litre.

This announcement comes after weeks of speculation regarding the pricing strategy of the newly operational refinery.

Joseph Obele, the spokesman for PETROAN, confirmed that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) communicated this price to the association.

"NNPC Retail Ltd has officially announced the PMS price at the Port Harcourt refinery as N1,030 per litre," Obele stated.

He also mentioned that the product request portal is now open for bookings, indicating that the refinery is fully operational and ready to distribute its products.

The strategic pricing team at PETROAN is currently analyzing the most favorable pricing strategies for its members.

Despite the set price, the association is urging NNPCL to consider further reductions. "We are open to patronizing all the refineries in Nigeria," Obele added, emphasizing the association's commitment to ensuring competitive pricing across the board.
