The Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), Pastor Bolaji Idowu has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Abuja. The arrest comes amid allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering.


According to sources within the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Pastor Idowu, who is widely recognized for his "Next-Level Prayer Conference," is currently being interrogated by law enforcement officials. A top police source confirmed, "The Next Level Prayer Conference pastor has been arrested by the police, and he is being grilled in Abuja over real estate fraud and money laundering."


Pastor Idowu founded HICC in December 2003, and under his leadership, the church has expanded its reach with locations across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The church reportedly attracts over 70,000 worshippers both online and onsite.
