The Nigerian government has secured a €300 million development finance deal with France.
This partnership is set to invigorate critical sectors of Nigeria's economy, including healthcare, transportation, agricultural value chains, and renewable energy.
The agreement was spearheaded by Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, who emphasized that the collaboration transcends mere financial support. "This partnership goes beyond financial support. It is about building robust, sustainable systems that foster development and empower Nigerians," Edun remarked.
The deal was formalized through a Letter of Intent co-signed by Mr. Edun and France’s Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industry, Mr. Antoine Armand.
