The newly appointed manager of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, has voiced his concerns over Pep Guardiola's contract extension with Manchester City.
Speaking candidly, Amorim remarked that Guardiola's decision to remain at City until 2027 poses "a problem for everybody" in the Premier League.
Amorim, who is set to lead United in his first match against Ipswich, is determined to break the club's title drought that has persisted since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement in 2013.
Despite the formidable challenge presented by Guardiola's continued presence at City, Amorim emphasized the importance of focusing on internal growth and improvement.
"We just have to focus on improving our club and not focus on the other clubs," he stated, underscoring his strategic approach to revitalizing Manchester United.
This managerial shift comes at a time when the Premier League is witnessing significant upheavals, with Manchester City experiencing unexpected losses and Liverpool emerging as strong contenders.
