Netflix Reality Star Arrested for Attempting to Smuggle £150,000 of Drugs into UK with Offer of £18k and Trip to Thailand

Olga Bednarska, a 27-year-old star from the Netflix dating series "Too Hot to Handle," was apprehended for attempting to smuggle drugs worth nearly £150,000 into the UK. The incident unfolded after she accepted an offer of £18,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to Thailand.

Bednarska, originally from Poland but residing in Manchester, had accumulated massive debt while trying to maintain a lavish lifestyle, which led her to resort to crime.

During her trip, she was tasked with bringing back designer items from Thailand. However, upon her return on October 20, customs officers at Manchester Airport discovered 40kg of cannabis concealed in two large suitcases she was carrying.

The influencer claimed that a friend named "Tex" had given her the bags, which were supposed to contain clothes and watches. Despite her claims, she was unable to unlock the suitcases when asked by officials, as she did not have the code.

In court, Bednarska pleaded guilty to being involved in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug. Judge John Potter, acknowledging her financial struggles, handed her a 20-month sentence, suspended for two years, along with an order to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirements.

The judge remarked on the potential harm such drugs could cause to communities and noted that Bednarska had placed her trust in someone she barely knew, acting under their direction for potential profit.
