Keirsten White has confessed to the sexual and physical abuse of her two young children, both under the age of four.
White turned herself in to authorities, revealing the harrowing details of her crimes. According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz of St. Landry Parish, White admitted that her actions were driven by "extreme stress and frustration stemming from a divorce."
The confession prompted an immediate investigation by the Juvenile Division detectives, who confirmed the extent of the criminal activity through White's cooperation.
Sheriff Guidroz emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, "While we, as Christians, should 'hate the sin, not the sinner,' law enforcement has the sacred obligation to uphold the law."
He expressed gratitude for White's decision to surrender and cooperate fully with the investigation. White faces serious charges, including first-degree rape, sexual battery, indecent behavior with juveniles, and cruelty to juveniles.
If convicted, she could face life imprisonment, the maximum penalty for first-degree rape under Louisiana law.
