Man Utd Manager, Amorim says His Job is on the Line if Man United Keep Losing [VIDEO]

Ruben Amorim, the current manager of Manchester United, has openly acknowledged the precarious nature of his position following a string of disappointing performances by the team.

In recent statements, Amorim conceded that his job is "in danger" as long as the club's poor form persists.

The Portuguese coach, who took over the reins at Old Trafford just a month ago, has faced mounting pressure after Manchester United suffered their third consecutive defeat and fifth in seven games.

Despite the challenges, Amorim expressed a certain acceptance of the situation, stating, "The manager of Manchester United can never, no matter what, be comfortable, and I know the business that I'm in."

Amorim's tenure has been marked by limited time to implement his strategies, having only conducted four training sessions with the squad. Nevertheless, he remains resolute, emphasizing that winning is the ultimate measure of success. "You can say I am here one month and I’ve had four training [sessions], but we are not winning. That is the reality and I’m quite comfortable with that," he remarked.

The manager's candid acknowledgment of the risks associated with his role comes amid ongoing discussions about potential player acquisitions.

Manchester United has reportedly initiated talks with AS Monaco regarding midfielder Youssouf Fofana, while also exploring options such as Richard Rios, Sander Berge, Martin Zubimendi, and Sofyan Amrabat. Interest in PSG’s Manuel Ugarte remains, albeit tempered by financial considerations.

As the Red Devils strive to regain their footing in the Premier League, Amorim remains focused on long-term goals, including winning the league title. However, he admits uncertainty about the timeline for achieving such ambitions, stating, "Our goal is to win the Premier League. How long it will take, I don't know."

The coming weeks will be crucial for Amorim and Manchester United as they seek to reverse their fortunes and restore confidence among fans and stakeholders alike.

The pressure is palpable, but Amorim appears to thrive under it, understanding that every coach is inherently "in danger" when results falter.
