Man City's Current State has Left Me Unable to Eat Properly and Sleep at Night - Pep Guardiola Says

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has candidly revealed the toll that his team's current form is taking on his personfnfval well-being.

In an interview, Guardiola admitted that the club's struggles have left him unable to eat properly and struggling to sleep at night.

The renowned coach disclosed that Manchester City has slumped to their seventh defeat in ten games across all competitions, with the latest setback being a 2-0 loss to Juventus in a European match on December 11.

This string of poor performances has not only affected the team's standing but also Guardiola's health. In a conversation with former teammate Luca Toni, Guardiola shared, "I am a person who sometimes gets nervous, I have bad days, I make a lot of mistakes and rudeness makes me nervous. Do I sometimes lose my head? Yes. I sleep worse and I don't digest food properly now. I always have to eat light. Only soup at night."

Despite these challenges, Guardiola remains optimistic about the future. He reflected on his past successes, stating, "I am the same coach as five months ago, the one who won the Premier League title. If I'm in a bad mood, it's bad. But I know it will pass. The same when I'm very happy. I know it will pass."

Looking ahead, Guardiola anticipates a challenging year but believes that if Manchester City can advance in the Champions League, they will be a formidable force.

The team is set to face their rivals, Manchester United, at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, where they hope to turn their season around.
