Liverpool Handed Major Injury Boost Ahead of Real Madrid Showdown

Liverpool has received a major injury boost ahead of their Champions League clash against Real Madrid.

The England right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold, who had been recovering from a muscle injury for the past few weeks, was seen participating in training on Tuesday.

This development is crucial as Liverpool prepares to face the Spanish giants at Anfield on Wednesday, November 27, at 8 p.m. GMT (3 p.m. ET). Although it remains uncertain whether Alexander-Arnold will start the match, his return to training is a positive sign for the team.

In addition to the upcoming European fixture, Liverpool is also gearing up for a Premier League showdown against Manchester City on Sunday, December 1. Despite the boost from Alexander-Arnold's return, Liverpool will still be without key players such as goalkeeper Alisson, who is sidelined with a hamstring issue sustained in October.

Caoimhin Kelleher is expected to continue in goal for the Merseysiders. Furthermore, Kostas Tsimikas and Diogo Jota are doubts for the weekend due to injuries, while Federico Chiesa, Harvey Elliott, and Jayden Danns are on the comeback trail.
