Lagos Police Refund N1 Million to Extorted NYSC Members

Officers from the Lagos Area C command have returned over N1 million to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.

This restitution follows accusations of extortion, which were initially brought to light by X user Oluyemi Fasipe. Fasipe expressed gratitude for the swift response from Lagos Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin and the Lagos State NYSC officials, acknowledging their roles in ensuring justice was served.

Despite the refund, Fasipe emphasized that the trial of the involved officers is still ongoing, urging the public to remain vigilant as the case progresses.
