A former Aviation Minister of Nigeria, Femi Fani-Kayode, has publicly criticized Kemi Badenoch, the newly elected leader of the United Kingdom's Conservative Party.
Fani-Kayode accused Badenoch of renouncing her Nigerian heritage and disavowing her family, including her father, mother, and siblings.
He suggested that she should formally erase her maiden name, Adegoke, from records.
In a post on X, Fani-Kayode expressed his strong disapproval, stating, "She should formally wipe her maiden name of Adegoke off the record as well and publicly renounce and disavow her father, mother, siblings and Nigerian lineage and heritage."
He further emphasized the divide between Badenoch and Nigerians by saying, "She sees us as being corrupt and evil and we see her as being the devil incarnate and the spawn of satan. There can be no fellowship between us."
Fani-Kayode went on to label Badenoch as "public enemy number one" of Nigeria, urging her to focus on UK affairs, particularly addressing the ruling Labour Party and its Prime Minister, Keir Starmer.
