Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign Cancel 'Vultures' Concert in Taiwan

The highly anticipated "Vultures Listening Experience" featuring Kanye West, also known as Ye, and Ty Dolla $ign has been reportedly canceled.

The event was initially scheduled to take place on August 25, 2024, at Taoyuan City Stadium in Taiwan.

This would have marked the duo's first performance in Taiwan, following a similar event planned for Seoul on August 23.

The cancellation news broke on August 21, 2024, with local media outlets such as Taiwan News and Mirror Media reporting that the organizers had informed manufacturers about the event's cancellation.

However, no official announcement has been made yet, and the ticketing webpage still lists the event without any updates regarding its status.

The cancellation is attributed to time constraints faced by Ye and Ty Dolla $ign in curating production and meeting logistic requirements.

Despite the setback, fans were eagerly looking forward to the event, especially after the artists added four new songs to their collaborative project "Vultures 2" on August 16, 2024. These tracks featured high-profile guests like Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, Kodak Black, and Latin superstar Peso Pluma.

As of now, there are no updates on whether the Seoul event will proceed as planned or if it will face similar issues. Fans remain hopeful for a rescheduled date or an official statement from the artists or organizers.

This development comes amidst ongoing changes to the "Vultures 2" album, with Kanye West recently adding a new verse to the track "Forever," exploring themes of time and existence. The dynamic nature of the project has kept fans on their toes, eagerly anticipating each new update.
