'Justice Is Coming': Jay-Z Responds to Rape Accuser's Admission of Inconsistencies in Lawsuit

Renowned rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has responded to allegations of rape made against him by an anonymous accuser.

The lawsuit, which also names Sean "Diddy" Combs as a co-defendant, alleges that the two celebrities raped a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000.

The accuser, identified only as "Jane Doe," recently came forward to NBC News, acknowledging inconsistencies in her account but standing firm on her claims of being attacked. She stated, "Even if somebody found out, who was gonna believe me? I mean, it was the word of two celebrities against mine."

Jay-Z has vehemently denied the allegations, describing them as "idiotic" and asserting that they are part of a "pursuit of money and fame."

In a statement, he declared, "True Justice is coming. We fight FROM victory, not FOR victory. This was over before it began."

The lawsuit, initially filed in October in the Southern District of New York, was refiled to include Carter as a defendant.

The accuser claims the assault occurred after she was driven to the party by a limousine driver who allegedly worked for Combs. According to the suit, the driver told her she "fit what Diddy was looking for."

Carter's legal team has criticized the lawsuit, with his attorneys stating, "You have made a terrible error in judgment thinking that all ‘celebrities’ are the same. We protect children."

Meanwhile, Combs' legal representatives have dismissed the suits as "shameless publicity stunts."
