Jay-Z's Lawyer Denies Rape Allegations, Rapper has Nothing to do with Sean 'Diddy' Combs [VIDEO]

Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, the renowned rapper and entrepreneur, is facing serious allegations in a civil lawsuit.

The lawsuit accuses him of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 alongside fellow hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. However, Jay-Z's legal team has vehemently denied these accusations, presenting evidence to refute the claims.

The lawsuit, filed by an anonymous accuser identified only as "Jane Doe," alleges that the incident occurred at an after-party for the MTV Video Music Awards in New York.

The accuser claims she was driven to the party by a limousine driver who worked for Combs. Upon arrival, she was allegedly assaulted by both Jay-Z and Combs. Jay-Z's attorney, Alex Spiro, addressed the media at Roc Nation's headquarters in New York, describing the allegations as "provably, demonstrably false."

He highlighted several inconsistencies in the accuser's account, including an "impossible timeline" and a location that does not exist. Spiro stated, "It’s not just that this story is a lie and that it’s not true, it’s provably, demonstrably false. This never happened."

The lawsuit was initially filed in October in the Southern District of New York, naming Combs as a defendant. It was refiled on December 8, 2024, to include Jay-Z.

The timing coincides with the expiration of the Adult Survivors Act, a New York law allowing victims of sexual abuse a one-year window to file civil actions regardless of the statute of limitations.

Combs, who is currently facing federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z has taken legal action against the accuser's attorneys, alleging attempts to blackmail him into a settlement.

In a statement, Jay-Z expressed his support for genuine victims of abuse, saying, "My heart and support goes out to true victims in the world." He also criticized the accuser's legal representation, accusing them of exploiting the situation for personal gain.
