Jamie Foxx in Stable Condition After Altercation at Beverly Hills Restaurant

Renowned actor and musician Jamie Foxx is on the mend following a distressing incident that occurred during his birthday celebration at a high-end restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.

The altercation, which took place on Friday night, left the Oscar-winning star with injuries requiring medical attention.

Foxx, who turned 57 on the day of the incident, was dining with family at the upscale Mr. Chow restaurant when the evening took an unexpected turn.

According to reports patrons at a nearby table began hurling rude and vulgar insults at the "In Living Color" and "Ray" star. A witness recounted that after Foxx requested the group to cease their disruptive behavior, a person from the table allegedly threw a glass at him, striking him in the mouth.

The impact of the glass necessitated stitches for Foxx, as confirmed by his representative to both TMZ and Page Six.

The Beverly Hills Police Department responded to the scene following reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. However, after conducting an investigation, the authorities determined that the report was "unfounded" and classified the event as an "altercation between parties."

Despite the unsettling nature of the incident, Foxx's injuries are not believed to be serious.

In a social media post early Sunday morning, Foxx expressed resilience, stating, "The devil is busy, but I'm too blessed to be stressed." He further added, "When your light is shining bright...they try to bring you to darkness...but they don't know that you're built for it."

The police have documented the incident as a battery, but no arrests have been made as of Saturday evening.

The investigation remains ongoing, with law enforcement officials continuing to gather details about the altercation.
