I Will Like a New Break for Marcus Rashford to Go and Enjoy His Football Elsewhere - Murray Declares

Former Brighton and Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray has publicly advised Manchester United's star forward, Marcus Rashford, to consider leaving the club.

Speaking on BBC Match of the Day, Murray emphasized that a move could be beneficial for Rashford, who has been struggling with form and limited playing time under the new head coach, Ruben Amorim.

Murray, reflecting on Rashford's current situation, stated, "I feel as though it’s the right time for him to leave the football club. I feel like he’s carried the weight of Manchester United and the supporters’ expectations for too long now." He further added, "I would like a new break for Marcus Rashford, to go and enjoy his football elsewhere."

Rashford, who is Manchester United's highest earner, has experienced a significant dip in performance over recent seasons, netting only seven goals and providing three assists in 24 appearances this season.

This decline has been attributed to various managerial changes at the club, with Amorim's tenure seeing a further reduction in Rashford's playing time.
