"I Was Hacked" - Beyonce's Mom Tina Knowles Denies Liking Instagram Post About Jay-Z's Rape Allegation

Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, has found herself inadvertently drawn into the controversy in recent developments surrounding the high-profile lawsuit involving Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs.

The lawsuit, which accuses the two music moguls of raping a 13-year-old girl at a Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000, has garnered massive media attention. As the legal proceedings unfold, an unexpected twist emerged when Tina Knowles' Instagram account appeared to have liked a post detailing these serious allegations against her son-in-law, Jay-Z.

The post in question was shared by ABC7 Chicago and highlighted the federal lawsuit filed against Jay-Z and Combs. The lawsuit, brought forth by a woman identified as Jane Doe, accuses the two men of sexually assaulting her when she was just 13 years old.

This alleged incident took place during the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards after-party. The interaction with the post quickly caught the attention of social media users, sparking widespread speculation about Knowles' stance on the matter.

However, Tina Knowles has publicly denied any intentional engagement with the post. In a statement released through her representatives, Knowles clarified that her Instagram account's interaction with the post was unintentional and did not reflect her views or opinions regarding the allegations. She emphasized her support for her family and expressed concern over the misinterpretation of her social media activity.

The lawsuit itself has been a focal point of controversy, with both Jay-Z and Combs vehemently denying the accusations. Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has labeled the allegations as a "blackmail attempt."

In a statement, he asserted, "My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a 'lawyer' named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!"

Combs' attorney, Teny Geragos, also issued a statement dismissing the claims as baseless and part of a series of "shameless publicity stunts" designed to extract payments from celebrities.

Geragos stated, "This amended complaint and the recent extortion lawsuit against Mr. Buzbee exposes his barrage of lawsuits against Mr. Combs for what they are: shameless publicity stunts, designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs."

The lawsuit alleges that the victim, now residing in Alabama, was raped by both men at the afterparty. According to the lawsuit, the girl attended the VMAs in New York City without a ticket, hoping to gain entry. Instead, she was invited to an afterparty by a limo driver who claimed to work for Combs.

The lawsuit further claims that upon arrival, she was asked to sign a document believed to be a non-disclosure agreement. Inside the party, after accepting a drink from a waitress, she began to feel "woozy and lightheaded" and sought a place to lie down. It was then, the lawsuit alleges, that Carter and Combs assaulted her.

In response to the filing, Carter's legal team has requested an expedited hearing to prevent the plaintiff from remaining anonymous, arguing that the allegations are unfounded and part of a larger scheme to tarnish his reputation. Meanwhile, Combs remains in custody in New York, facing separate federal sex trafficking charges. His attempts to secure bail have been repeatedly denied.

The involvement of Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing the plaintiff, has added another layer of complexity to the case. Buzbee has been accused of attempting to extort payments from celebrities by threatening to file sexual assault allegations. He denies these claims and maintains that his client never demanded money from Jay-Z, only seeking a confidential mediation.

Buzbee has also taken to social media to defend his actions, stating, "What he fails to say in his recent statement is my firm sent his lawyer a demand letter on behalf of an alleged victim and that victim never demanded a penny from him. Instead, she only sought a confidential mediation. Since I sent the letter on her behalf, Mr. Carter has not only sued me, but he has tried to bully and harass me and this plaintiff. His conduct has had the opposite impact. She is emboldened. I'm very proud of her resolve."
