Hollywood actor and musician Will Smith has publicly refuted claims linking him to Sean "Diddy" Combs amidst the latter's ongoing legal battles.
The rumors, which have been circulating widely on social media, suggest Smith's involvement in Combs' alleged controversial activities.
However, Smith has categorically denied any association with the disgraced music mogul. During a live performance at the Observatory North Park Theater in San Diego, Smith took a moment to address the viral memes and speculations.
"The world we're in right now, it's really hard for y'all to discern what's real and what's true," Smith remarked, as reported by various media outlets. "I've been seeing y'all's memes and stuff. Some of that stuff's funny. I haven't addressed any of this publicly, but I just wanna say this very clearly: I don't have s--- to do with Puffy, so y'all can stop all them memes. You can stop all of that bulls---."
Smith's comments come in the wake of serious allegations against Combs, who is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York.
Combs faces charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and coercion, with a trial set for May 2025. Despite having been photographed together at industry events over the years, Smith emphasized his lack of involvement with Combs' alleged activities. "I ain't been nowhere near that man, ain't did none of that stupid s---. So whenever y'all hear it if somebody says that, it's a damn lie," he asserted.
The actor's public denial aims to put an end to the unfounded rumors that have linked him to Combs' alleged "freak-off" parties, where attendees were reportedly drugged and assaulted.
Smith humorously added, "I ain’t even like baby oil," distancing himself further from the accusations.
