Nigerian actor and film director Ibrahim Chatta made a bold declaration about his status in the Yoruba-speaking film industry.
"A lot of time some people say Ibrahim Chatta is underrated. No, I’m not. I’m one of the highest-paid Yoruba-speaking actors in Nigeria," he confidently stated.
Chatta, who has long been a prominent figure in Nollywood, shared insights into his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a leading actor. He recounted his early days as a "studio rat," where he honed his skills by creating promotional jingles and composing soundtracks for over 400 films and firms.
Reflecting on his past, Chatta revealed, "I gave myself responsibility because I discovered it would make me stronger." Despite financial struggles, he worked as a bus conductor to support his family while pursuing his passion for film.
