"He Has Lived in the UK Without Any Criminal Conviction" - Lawyer Debunks False Deportation Claims Against Pastor Tobi Adegboyega

Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, a prominent and controversial pastor in the United Kingdom, is not facing deportation, according to his lawyer, Dele Olawanle.

In a statement issued on December 4, 2024, Olawanle refuted widespread rumors suggesting that Pastor Adegboyega was at risk of being expelled from the UK.

He emphasized that "the claim that Pastor Toi is facing deportation is false," highlighting that Adegboyega has lived in the UK for over 20 years without any criminal convictions. Olawanle criticized British tabloids for their "ignorance and sensationalism" in spreading these unfounded claims.

The lawyer further clarified that while SPAC Nation, the organization associated with Adegboyega, had faced scrutiny from courts and the Charity Commission, the pastor himself was never found guilty of any wrongdoing.

Olawanle described the deportation rumors as "sensationalism" and "an act of idiocy," expressing concern over society's tendency to bring down individuals who stand out. He concluded by reiterating that the deportation claims are baseless and stated that no further comments would be made on the matter, as the reports were not worth the attention they received.
