Grammy-winning music producer Metro Boomin, whose real name is Leland Wayne, is embroiled in a lawsuit filed by Vanessa LeMaistre.
The lawsureported by TMZ Hip Hop, accuses Metro Boomin of sexually assaulting LeMaistre in 2016.
According to the allegations, the two had developed a friendship after meeting in Las Vegas earlier that year.
LeMaistre claims that during a visit to Metro's Los Angeles studio, she observed him misusing codeine.
In September 2016, while grieving the loss of her 9-month-old son, she visited the studio again.
To cope with her grief, she took half a Xanax pill and a shot of alcohol, which led to her blacking out. She alleges that she later regained consciousness to find Metro allegedly assaulting her.
Subsequently, she woke up in a Beverly Hills hotel room with no memory of how she got there.
LeMaistre discovered she was pregnant shortly after the incident, a pregnancy she believes could only have been from Metro.
She terminated the pregnancy in November 2016. Adding to her claims, LeMaistre points to lyrics in Metro’s 2017 song “Rap Saved Me,” featuring 21 Savage, Offset, and Quavo, as referencing her trauma, specifically the line: “She took a Xanny / Then she fainted.”
In her lawsuit, LeMaistre is seeking unspecified damages for emotional and mental distress, as well as punitive damages.
Metro Boomin's attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II, has responded to the allegations, stating, "This is a pure shakedown. These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now.
Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court and will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails."
