Floyd Mayweather 'Takes a Few Hits' in London Mob Attack [VIDEOS]

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr., known globally as 'Money' Mayweather, was reportedly ambushed by a mob following a jewelry shopping spree. The 47-year-old retired undefeated champion, who was seen donning a green jacket, appeared visibly agitated as he was forced to make a hasty retreat from Hatton Garden.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with Mayweather being pursued by a large group. "He took a few hits but did not retaliate," an eyewitness told *The Sun*. His security team acted swiftly, bundling him into a waiting black vehicle as tensions escalated on the street. The entire confrontation reportedly lasted no more than two minutes before Mayweather made his escape in a 4x4.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, though it has been reported that eight to ten individuals were directly involved, with a larger crowd spectating. This incident adds to the list of public altercations involving the boxing icon, who retired in 2018 with an impeccable 50-0 record after defeating UFC star Conor McGregor.

Despite stepping away from professional boxing, Mayweather continues to engage in exhibition matches against social media personalities like Logan Paul and Deji Olatunji. Beyond the ring, he maintains a robust business portfolio, including Mayweather Promotions, real estate ventures, a fashion line called TMT, and a partnership with CGI Merchant Group.

Recently, Mayweather has faced criticism for allegedly failing to acknowledge the legacy of Muhammad Ali adequately. Heavyweight icon Roy Jones Jr. expressed his disapproval, stating, "If you don't respect Muhammad Ali, how can I respect you?"
