FIFA Best Awards 2024: Complete List of Winners



The Best FIFA Football Awards 2024, held at the prestigious Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar, celebrated the outstanding achievements of footballers and coaches from around the globe. This year's ceremony was a star-studded event, recognizing the exceptional talents that have dominated the sport over the past year.

The awards were determined by votes from fans, national team captains and coaches, as well as media representatives, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of the nominees' performances.


In the men's category, Brazil's Vinícius Júnior emerged as "The Best FIFA Men's Player" for 2024. His remarkable season with Real Madrid saw him clinch the Champions League, La Liga, and the Spanish Super Cup, solidifying his status as one of the world's top footballers. Vinícius Júnior's victory was a testament to his skill, agility, and consistent performance on the field, which captivated fans and critics alike.


On the women's side, Spain's Aitana Bonmatí was honored as "The Best FIFA Women's Player." Her contributions to Barcelona's success were pivotal, as she helped the team secure the Champions League, Liga F, Copa de la Reina, and the Spanish Women's Super Cup. Bonmatí's technical prowess and leadership qualities have made her an indispensable asset to both her club and national team.


The coaching accolades were awarded to Carlo Ancelotti and Emma Hayes. Ancelotti, representing Italy and Real Madrid, was named "The Best FIFA Men's Coach," while Hayes, who has been instrumental in Chelsea's dominance, received "The Best FIFA Women's Coach" award. Both coaches have demonstrated exceptional strategic acumen and the ability to inspire their teams to achieve greatness.

In the goalkeeping department, Argentina's Emiliano Martínez was recognized as "The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper" for his stellar performances with Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Alyssa Naeher from the USA and Chicago Red Stars was awarded "The Best FIFA Women's Goalkeeper," highlighting her crucial role in her team's defensive strength.

The ceremony also celebrated individual brilliance with the FIFA Puskás Award, which went to Alejandro Garnacho for his stunning goal against Everton. This accolade is reserved for the most aesthetically pleasing and technically impressive goal scored during the year.


Marta, the legendary Brazilian forward, was honored with the FIFA Marta Award for her memorable goal against Jamaica, showcasing her enduring talent and influence in women's football.


The FIFA Fair Play Award was presented to Thiago Maia of Brazil and Sport Club Internacional, acknowledging his exemplary sportsmanship and commitment to fair play on the pitch. Additionally, the FIFA Fan Award was given to Guilherme Gandra Moura from Brazil, celebrating his unwavering support and passion for the beautiful game.


The Best FIFA Men's 11 and Women's 11 were also unveiled, featuring a lineup of the most outstanding players in their respective categories. The men's team included stars like Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rüdiger, and Erling Haaland, while the women's team boasted talents such as Lucy Bronze, Naomi Girma, and Caroline Graham Hansen.
