The match, held on Wednesday night, saw former Manchester United captain and football pundit Roy Keane deliver a scathing critique of Marcus Rashford's performance. Keane, known for his candid assessments, did not hold back in his evaluation, stating, "His general play as a footballer is shocking."
Rashford, who had been enjoying a promising start under new head coach Ruben Amorim, was brought off the bench in the second half. Despite his previous success, including scoring three goals under Amorim, Rashford struggled to make an impact against Arsenal. He remarked, "I'm really disappointed with Manchester United. I thought the players were going through the motions a little bit. It was easy for Arsenal. The first half was fine but I was expecting a bit more."
