Enzo Maresca Singles Out One Chelsea Player After Tottenham Win

Chelsea emerged victorious over Tottenham with a narrow 4-3 win, thanks to the standout performance of Cole Palmer.

The match, held on Sunday, saw Palmer, a former Manchester City under-23 player, score twice from the penalty spot, marking his 50th goal involvement in just 48 Premier League games.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, who has known Palmer for several years, praised the young star's consistency and humility despite his rising fame. "I know Cole from four or five years ago," Maresca remarked.

"The best thing about him is that he remains exactly the same guy. Loves football, humble, no strange things."

This victory places Chelsea four points behind league leaders Liverpool and two points ahead of Arsenal, solidifying their position as strong contenders in the title race.

Maresca highlighted Palmer's grounded nature as a key factor in his success, stating, "He is always the same, doesn’t change, and we are very happy with Cole."
