Edo State governor Godwin Obaseki, warned that the governorship election would be "do or die."
Obaseki warns that all opposition negligence will die. He was speaking at a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rally in Ekemwan area of the state.
The man I replaced did not respect our people, did not respect women, encouraged prostitution and trafficking of women.
"When I took office, our elders wore black on Labor Day, today they wear white.
"When I took office, our youth had no jobs, don't they have jobs now? Eight years later, isn't Edo the safest in Nigeria?
Obaseki warned that any form of electoral rigging by the opposition would result in death.
Next week Saturday by this time, vote for PDP to become the next governor.”
On Saturday, September 21, the people of Edo State will file out to vote for the next governor of the state.
Asue Ighodalo of the PDP, Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party, LP, are the front runners in the governorship election.
