The Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Alhassan Ndagi, has urged Nigerian nurses to remain in the country, emphasizing that their skills are more critically needed at home than in Europe or America.
This call was made during the induction ceremony of 37 new nursing graduates in Osogbo, where Ndagi, represented by Stella Godswill, highlighted the importance of their commitment to the healthcare sector in Nigeria.
Ndagi acknowledged the challenging economic conditions but stressed, "While some of you may seek opportunities to travel abroad, remember that a first degree is just the beginning of this fulfilling career.
