DNA Test Should Be Mandatory After Birth – Phyna Says

Big Brother Naija reality star Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has voiced her opinion on the necessity of DNA tests immediately after childbirth.

This statement comes amidst a broader debate in Nigeria concerning the role and importance of DNA testing, particularly in light of increasing cases of paternity fraud.

Phyna's comments align with those of music executive Don Jazzy, who has also advocated for prioritizing DNA tests over traditional naming ceremonies.

Phyna expressed her support via her X handle, stating, "I support DNA test over naming ceremony. It’s should be passed that it is compulsory. Immediately after birth, a DNA test should be carried out."
