Music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs is making headlines once again as he prepares to file a third appeal for bail in his ongoing sex trafficking case. Combs, who was arrested on September 16, at a Manhattan hotel, faces severe allegations including organizing elaborate sex performances known as "freak offs," drugging, and sexually assaulting his victims.
According to court documents obtained by People, Combs' attorney, Alexandra Shapiro, filed a notice to appeal after the music mogul was denied bail twice. The first denial came shortly after his arrest, and the second on September 18.
Magistrate Judge Robyn F Tarnofsky cited concerns about Combs' alleged substance abuse and anger issues, stating she did not trust him not to harm others.
Despite these setbacks, Combs remains focused on his defense. "He is concentrating on his defense and preparing for his trial," a lawyer for Combs told People. The music mogul has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has recently been removed from precautionary suicide watch while being held at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.
