Crystal Palace Captain, Marc Guehi Opens Up After Being Reprimanded by the FA for Writing TWO Godly Messages on His LGBTQ Armband

Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi has openly addressed the controversy surrounding his decision to inscribe religious messages on his LGBTQ rainbow armband.

Despite receiving a warning from the Football Association (FA), Guehi remained steadfast in his actions, stating, "I felt it was important to express my faith and share a message of love and hope."

The incident unfolded when Guehi, during a recent match, chose to write "Jesus loves you" on his armband, a move that drew both criticism and support from various quarters.

The FA had previously cautioned players about adhering to guidelines regarding political and religious expressions on official gear. Guehi, however, defended his choice, emphasizing the personal significance of his faith.

"For me, it's about spreading positivity and reminding everyone that they are loved," he explained. "Football is a platform where we can inspire and uplift, and I believe this message aligns with those values."
