Cardi B has decisively countered claims that her financial success hinges solely on brand deals.
During an X Spaces session, the rapper disclosed a lucrative $65 million tour offer, underscoring her diverse income streams beyond social media endorsements.
Addressing fan feedback about her partnerships with brands like Shein, Cardi B expressed her frustration: “People say that I’m surviving off Shein deals and brand deals?” she questioned.
To dispel these notions, she shared text messages from an agent detailing the substantial tour offer, which would grant her half of the amount upon signing.
Despite the tempting offer, Cardi B explained her strategic decision to delay accepting any tour deals until the release of her much-anticipated sophomore album. “I don’t want to take tour deals until I announce my album,” she stated, emphasizing her belief that the album announcement would increase the tour's value.
“You gotta move smart… You can’t act hungry, especially when you’re not.” Beyond touring, Cardi B highlighted music as her primary revenue source, earning between $1.5 million to $2.5 million per show, depending on the venue and location.
Her financial acumen, shaped by a "hustler mentality" from her upbringing, is evident in her approach to managing substantial monthly expenses, which can reach up to $3 million.
