Cabinet Reshuffle: President Tinubu to Swear in 7 New Ministers on Monday

President Bola Tinubu is poised to swear in seven new ministers on Monday. This event, scheduled to take place at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja, marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing cabinet reshuffle initiated by the President.

The announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, who confirmed via X that "President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday."

The appointees include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Dingyadi as Minister of Labour and Employment, and Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Other notable appointments are Dr. Jumoke Oduwole for Industry, Trade and Investment, Idi Maiha for Livestock Development, Yusuf Ata for Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad for Education.

This reshuffle follows a series of strategic changes made by President Tinubu on October 23, when he reassigned ten ministers, discharged five others, and nominated these seven new candidates.

The Senate confirmed all nominees after a thorough screening process on October 31, 2024.
