Baba Fryo Accuses Nasboi of Stealing Lyrics from Iconic Hit 'Denge Pose' [VIDEO]

Veteran Nigerian musician Baba Fryo has publicly accused rising artist Nasboi of intellectual property theft, alleging that Nasboi used lyrics from his classic hit song 'Denge Pose' without permission.

The controversy erupted after Nasboi released his new track titled 'Short Skirt', which Fryo claims contains lyrics from his iconic song.

In a now-viral video shared on social media, Baba Fryo expressed his frustration and demanded proper credit and compensation for his work. Speaking in pidgin English, he said, “Nigerians, I greet una.

This thing don dey happen e don tey. And I was not happy with it. But now I want to take action. You see that song wey Naboi sings about ‘short skirt’. My lyrics ‘Dengo dey denge Denge’ are inside the verse. So, anybody wey know Naboi should tell him to reach out to me before water go pass geri.”

Fryo further warned Nasboi to contact him directly to resolve the issue amicably before he takes any legal action. “As you are looking at me, I’m not happy but this one must be the last time that anyone will use my song without telling me. You people should tell him to reach out to me before I take action,” he added.
