Nigerian-British boxer Anthony Joshua was recognized as one of the top three highest-earning boxers in 2024, despite experiencing a surprising defeat to Daniel Dubois in September.

According to reports, Joshua secured a guaranteed purse of £6 million from their bout at Wembley Stadium. His earnings could potentially exceed £25 million if pay-per-view (PPV) buys reached the projected 850,000 mark. This financial success underscores his market value and continued earning power in the boxing world.
Only Tyson Fury and Canelo Alvarez surpassed Joshua's earnings this year. Tyson Fury, known as the "Gipsy King," amassed an impressive $100 million from his historic undisputed heavyweight clash against Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in May.
Meanwhile, Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez earned over $35 million for his successful undisputed super middleweight title defense against Jaime Munguia at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Joshua's opponent, Daniel Dubois, received a guaranteed purse of £3.5 million, with potential earnings rising to £8 million based on PPV performance.
The fight concluded dramatically, with Dubois knocking down Joshua four times before achieving a fifth-round stoppage. Despite this setback, Joshua's financial achievements remain notable, highlighting his status as a prominent figure in the sport.
