Hollywood star Angelina Jolie experienced an unexpected encounter with an overzealous fan at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Sunday, September 8. The incident occurred during the premiere of her latest directorial venture, "Without Blood," which she attended with her son Pax.
As Jolie paused to greet a large group of enthusiastic fans, one particularly eager admirer managed to slip past five or six security guards and rushed towards the actress. The fan pressed herself against Jolie, wrapping her arms around the star in a tight hug. The sudden force caused Jolie to jolt and momentarily lose her balance, as captured in video footage shared widely on social media.
Despite the shocking breach of security, Jolie maintained her composure. She was seen smiling and graciously interacting with the fan, even as her security team moved in to separate them.
In a display of calm and kindness, Jolie repeatedly instructed her team to "be nice" while they handled the situation. "I’m very happy, he is healthy," Jolie said about her son Pax, who recently recovered from an electric bike accident. "We worked on the film together, and we do a lot of work together, so it was a family night."
